Men’s Residental Treatment Program
The goal of our men’s residential treatment program is to provide comprehensive, gender specific, men’s drug rehab and alcohol recovery services. Our program is based on an individual assessment, individualized treatment plan – which states goals and objectives for the course of treatment, and a transitional treatment plan – which reflects the client’s strengths, needs, abilities and preferences during the course of treatment.
Men’s Addiction Treatment Center
All male clients entering Harmony’s men’s addiction treatment center in Colorado are assigned to a gender specific group of their peers. Clients are also assigned a primary counselor for individual sessions, treatment planning, and assignment review.
During the course of the client’s clinically recommended length of stay, he will participate in process groups, assignment groups, the peer evaluation process, recovery education groups, and individual counseling.
The clients attend 12-Step meetings while at Harmony and are recommended for psychological evaluation based on individual need. They meet with the men’s spiritual advisor for a spiritual assessment and presentation of their 5th step near the conclusion of the men’s residential treatment program.
Excercise & Addiction Treatment
Exercise is a vital part of treatment, and all clients, with clearance of the nursing department, are given the opportunity to exercise 2 times a day. Auricular acupuncture is offered 3 times per week as part of the comprehensive program of recovery at Harmony Foundation.
Recognizing the need for recovery support post-treatment, Harmony offers aftercare services in two locations, North Denver and Loveland. Aftercare is offered weekly in both locations; the groups are designed to support the transition plan developed in residential treatment and provide encouragement for clients to integrate into their local community 12 step groups for sustained recovery. The family members of Harmony graduates are offered family aftercare at the same time and locations as the primary client groups.
