My wife Arlene and her roomate Charlene were at Harmony in 1986 or 87. My wife as well as her roomate both passed away in 1989. They both continued drinking. My wife had been at Hazelden, Hinsdale and Harmony, but she continued to drink. I quit on 8/6/86 and am very happy I did, I am still here, alive and breathing. On her side of the family, there have been three deaths as a result of drinking, and there will be 2 more in the near future, if her nieces and nephews do not stop. Take note, drinking may seem like fun, but it causes a lot of grief.
