The treatment experience begins with a professional
assessment of the problems caused by the use of chemicals. The treatment team
then coordinates a treatment plan specific to the needs of the individual
student.
A major focus of recovery from addiction includes
interaction in group therapy. In a safe, supportive, therapeutic setting, our
students are free to explore the common problems of addiction as they look for
new solutions that will work in their lives.
Medical services are available at all times; our
nursing staff provides 24-hour care. Detoxification is closely monitored. Each
student receives a physical examination, including comprehensive laboratory
tests. When needed, additional services are provided through our affiliation
with the Estes Park Medical Center. A staff psychologist and psychiatrist are
available to provide consultation, when indicated.
To complement the overall process of recovery, Harmony
provides an activities and exercise program to assist in developing a healthy,
well-balanced lifestyle.
