FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM RULES

Any exceptions or special requests not covered by these rules MUST have prior approval by a primary counselor.

  1. Nursing staff must check all items brought to Harmony for primary clients before they may be given to the client. No alcohol or other drugs are permitted on the grounds. No cell phones are to be given to the clients.
  2. All individual clients, Family Program attendees, and visitors must be accompanied by two other adults when taking a walk. The walks shall be limited to the sidewalks and road circling Harmony. Persons in treatment (but not their visitors) must sign in and out at the Front Office. For your safety, no walks are allowed after dark.
  3. Visiting cabins and rooms is prohibited, either by family, friends, or other clients. There are several areas in the Lodge to gather for visiting. Rooms and cabins are off limits to anyone other than roommates.
  4. Sexual involvement with persons in treatment is prohibited!
  5. Please keep your attire in the "non-revealing" category.
  6. Everyone goes to their sleeping quarters by 10:00 p.m.
  7. Children under age 12 are allowed to visit only on Sundays.
  8. Family and friends are asked not to answer the client pay phones. No calls are to be made or received after 9:45 p.m. If you have a cell phone you may use this in or near the Family Building during free time. We ask that you silence it or turn it off during the program and do not loan it to any client.
