Family Dynamics
Holidays often bring families to the forefront, regardless of physical proximity. This session provides insights into navigating complex family relationships addressing mental health or substance use issues, all while safeguarding one’s own recovery journey.
Facilitator: Megan Hauschulz, MSW, CAS
Megan is the daytime virtual intensive outpatient program counselor at Harmony. She is a certified addiction specialist (CAS). Megan earned her undergraduate and graduate degree (MSW) in social work from Colorado State University. Megan has worked at Harmony Foundation since 2012, previously as a counseling technician. Megan is in recovery herself and is also a Harmony Alumni. Megan uses DBT, mindfulness, and CBT in her work, along with 12-step concepts and relapse prevention. Megan’s style is very engaging. We are very happy she is part of the team.
