Fall Spiritual Renewal Retreat
Event Navigation
Join Harmony alumni for a day of spiritual renewal focused on reconnecting with your WHY. We can get lost and confused and lose track of our values when living in a culture that seems to promote above all else vanity, materialism, consumerism, competition, instant gratification, zoning out, and busy-ness: all the things that can lead a person in recovery right back into the grips of addiction.
Slowing down for a day allows the mind to reset itself, the body to relax, the emotions to settle or surface if needed, and the spirit to take flight. Many religions suggest or even require that one day of the week be set aside for these very reasons. On this retreat, we will plan to spend the morning on the Harmony campus doing light Yoga, meditation, prayer, journaling, group discussion, and getting to know each other a little. Harmony will provide lunch. After lunch, we will move up into Rocky Mountain National Park for some light hiking/walking, a short solo, photography, journaling, and a general reconnection with nature. No prior experience with any of the above activities is necessary.
